What's required for a website?
There are 3 things necessary for any website to work:
- A registered domain name
- A hosting company
- Website design
Registered Domain Name - Every website needs a domain name and that name needs to be registered with an accredited domain hosting company. A domain name is the name of the website ("fullcircleimages" is the domain name of this website) and it points to the internet address of the computer where the website files are stored. Domain name registration is typically an annual fee.
Hosting Company - A hosting company provides storage for your website files. You pay a hosting company "rent" for storing your files.
Website Design - After you have a name for your website and a place to store your files, now you need a cool design and content for your website!
